Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How long will it take my item to ship?

All items are shipped once payment is received.  Expect to have your item(s) within 1 to 6 weeks from your order. Most swing seats & hardware ship within 48 hours of receiving the order. Large purchases, such as bike racks & picnic tables often take up to 4 weeks to ship. The shipping times are based on each individual manufacturer & items purchased.  If we are notified that your item(s) will be delayed beyond our stated shipment time, we will contact you.


  1. How will my item ship?

Swing seats & hardware ship via UPS Ground. Large purchases, such as bike racks & picnic tables ship via less-than-load truck. No extra services are included in the “free shipping.” This means that you and/or your representatives will be responsible for unloading the equipment when it arrives. If you would like a call beforehand, liftgate service or delivery inside, please contact us for a quote (it is usually an additional $35+ for these services).


  1. Do you offer expedited shipping services?

Yes, An in-plant minimum rush fee of $5.00 will be added to any expedited order. Just give us a call so that we may provide you with a firm price for UPS Overnight, 2-day or 3-day Select service.


  1. How will I know if my items are backordered?

We will do our best to notify you immediately if an item you have purchased is going to have delayed shipping. You will then have an opportunity to adjust your order (such as ordering alternate colors) or wait for your original order.


  1. Will I receive notification that my order has shipped?

Yes. You will receive one email confirming the items on your order, one email confirming the transaction posted to your credit card (if this is the option you chose), and one more with your tracking information when it ships.


  1. What if I received only part of my order?

If your order contains multiple items, you may receive separate boxes at varying times. You may even receive boxes from different parts of the country. We kindly request that you wait one business day to contact us if part of your order has not been received.


  1. What kind of warranty does Recreation Dynamics offer?

All of our products carry a manufacturer warranty.  For information regarding your specific product warranty, please contact us.  If you have a product warranty claim, please contact us for assistance and have your date of purchase and/or receipt number available.


  1. Is my online purchase secure?

Yes! Online purchases are processed in a secure environment. 


  1. Will you share my email address with anyone else or send me “spam”?

No. All customer information is considered confidential and will not be shared with 3rd party companies/persons. We may, from time to time, send you an email regarding sales, but if you respond with the word “remove” we will be happy to remove you from any future mailings.


  1. What will you send me if I join your mailing list?

From time to time, we run specials and sales. We will send you this information via email. Feel free to respond with the word “remove” in the subject or body of the email and we’ll remove you from future mailings.


  1. Do you accept Purchase Orders?

Yes! If you are a public school or are a military/government institution and wish to setup an account with us, please email your order to . Purchase order accounts are welcomed!


  1. Do you ever give discounts?

  1. Does Recreation Dynamics provide installation?

Yes. We appreciate the opportunity to quote an installation price from our Virginia location or from one of our network of dealers or installers.


  1. Why do you only collect VA sales tax?

Since our office is located in Virginia, we are required to collect VA sales tax, unless your organization can provide us with a tax-exempt certificate. If you live in any other state besides Virginia, it is your responsibility to report your online purchases on your own tax returns, where applicable.
